Bella & Filippa – report in the magazine QX!

Starlab’s annual Christmas table for our in-house producers and songwriters.

Congratulations to Starlab’s songwriter Magnus Karlsson who wrote the song YES! WE CAN! along with Japanese Musoh. The song is released on the concert / musical project “Team Handsome”.

Starlab signs a licensing agreement with Warner Music for Bella & Filippa. The agreement applies for several singles and albums by the artist. To now take the next step in building their careers along with Warner feels very exciting. We are very pleased to partner and have great confidence in Warner’s strong team.

Now it is official that Bella & Filippa compete in Melodifestivalen third race in Vaxjo with the song “Crucified”. The song is published by us and written by the girls themselves Bella Snihs and Filippa Frisell together with Mats Frisell, Jakob Stadell and Peter Hägerås who also produced the song in Starlab studios.

Bella & Filippa is releasing their debut single “Missing Rose”. Bella & Filippa are two 16-years old bonus sisters who began to record themselves when they interpreted famous songs on the internet page videofy.me 2013. Three years later, they have over 53,000 followers. The song is written by Mats Frisell, Jacob Stadell, Kristoffer Eng and Peter Hägerås who also produced the song in Starlab studios.

Michael Fannon is releasing his sixth single, an emotional Christmas song about the people that Christmas never reach. Just like last Christmas the Swedish Radio P4 chosen to put Michael on their A Christmas List, (which will make it one of the most played Christmas song this year). Last Christmas the song was called “Första julen utan dig” this year the song is called “Dom som julen aldrig når”. The song was written by Michael Fannon, Johannah Labranche, Jessica Hansson and Jimmy Åkerfors, who also produced the song in Starlab Publishing studios. Congratulations Peter Nord and Mats Larsson, who wrote the song Hana-Hirake for the Japanese boy band V6.
The song is now in Japanese TV commercials for chips “Tongari Corn”.

Starlab Publishing songwriters Jan Andersson and Peter Hedén has for the eighth time a song in the top of sales charts in Japan. This time it is a song with the boy band Sexy Zone Album 5th Anniversary Best. Congratulations!

Today we release Michael Fannons single “Tack! men förlåt” The song is written by Michael and Jimmy Åkerfors, who also produced the song in our studios.
This is Michael’s fourth single on line which becomes A-listed on National Swedish Radio P4.
