Starlab travels together with Export Music Sweden and Music Finland to Seoul, South Korea for a Trade Mission. For three full days, company visits, lectures and a reception for Korean industry were made at the Swedish ambassador’s residence in Seoul.

Starlab, together with Export Music Sweden, goes on a Trade Mission in Tokyo for three very busy days. The collaboration is arranged in collaboration with Music Finland, Music Export Denmark, Music Norway and Iceland Music Export. Activities include company visits, a Trade Day where around 70 representatives from the Japanese music industry are invited and Seminar Day with interesting keynotes from the Japanese industry. Sweden and Japan celebrate 150 years of bilateral contacts and this year’s reception for Japanese industry is at the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo. Starlab also had private meetings and a fantastic dinner with our Japanese sub-publisher Nichion.

Today we release via Warner Music Sweden Bella & Filippa’s new single “Ring Them Bells” which is an atmospheric Christmas song but with a serious lyrics that reflects the dark side of Christmas. The song is written by Bella & Filippa together with Starlab Publishings songwriters Peter Hägerås, Mats Frisell and Jakob Stadell and produced by Nicklas Eklund in Starlab Publishing studios.

Now it is confirmed that we are part of the National selection in Switzerland for Eurovision Song Contest 2019!
Congratulations to Starlab Publishing songwriter Nicklas Eklund who wrote the song “Playground” together with Ellie Wyatt and Scilla Siekmann who is also the artist! Nicklas has also produced the song in Starlab’s studios.

Today, we release Sara Sangfelt’s single “Walking On”. The song has Sara written with Nicklas Eklund and Beatrice Robertsson, who is the same team who wrote her last song, the radio hit “I want you”. Producer is, as before, Nicklas Eklund.

Congratulations to Starlab Publishing songwriters Nicklas Eklund and Matilda Frommegård who wrote the song “Summertime” to the popular Japanese artist Tamura Meimi. The release went straight to # 24 on the Japanese sales charts!
